Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone
Pros: It is a wonderful and advenurous book. J. K. Rowling has an amazing writing style. You really get to know the newly introduced characters and love them! There are many amazing details that make the world of wizards almost believable. They even have their own wizard government and wizard money! There is a great deal of Greek monsters involved that just makes it more mysterious. Your life is not complete until you read this book! (And the whole series!)
Cons:There aren't many cons, but there still are some. We are having trouble coming up with them though. Please email us some!

Pros: J. K. Rowling maintains her great writing abilities! You are getting to love her charactors even more! More dangers come that just makes the story better! This book will keep you on the edge of your seat! You will never, I repeat never put this book down until you finish it! In a good way of corse! More magical mischief then ever, with a little help from Peeves! (And the Weasley twins). I highly suggest to read this book.
Cons: This book is a little creepy, I personally know a kid who had to put the book down 'cause it was freaking him out so bad. It also has a bit of gore toward the end of it. Too much. There's also a very egotistical teacher, so if you're looking for a role model...

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
Pros: This book in the Harry Potter series is easily one of my favorites! It has a lot of red herrings, which just makes the books better and more exciting! It has a lot of secrets to be revealed. ( I don't want to give them away. that will just ruin the book!) This book is just soooooooooo funny! People started to stare at me I was laughing so hard! I truly think you should read this book as soon has you get your hands on it!
Cons: The biggest con is probably that you will always want to skip to the end so that you will know the hair curling secrets! (That's just what I wanted to do!) But one thing is, ( if you have not read the book, I suggest you stop reading,) Hermione's time turner. It is very confusing to understand! Some of my friends feel the same way too! Wouldn't Hermione be stuck in a time loop? If you can help me understand, ( and other people too,) please leave a comment!

Harry Potter and the Goblet of fire
Pros: Harry Potter and the goblet will just blow your mind away! The characters are very realistic and have a couple of realistic problems too. ( cough, cough, love, cough, cough! I think I need a cough drop!) But the main line of story, WOW! I swear the books are getting better! It is another of my favorites! There is more magic then you can dream of! The magical creatures in there is one the best parts! There are sphinxes, mere people, dragons, giant spiders, demetors, veelas, lepercons and much, much more! And there are just enough things to scare you to keep you entertained! I highly suggest reading this book! (Just remember to read the other books first!)
Cons: Like I said the books are getting better and better, well they are also getting darker and darker. They are now written for a bit more mature readers! At the end even I was a bit afraid! I also was a bit depressed at the end, (If you have not read the book, please stop reading!) when Cedric Diggory died. I was practically in tears! (But I did most of the crying at the end of The Order of the Phoenix!) Well over all, if you are not the type for reading dark, scary and depressing books I do not suggest reading this book!

Pros: This is an outstandingly funny and well-written book. It has no flaws in terms of writing or plot, is very clever, and is very long, to keep you entertained for a long time. (That last one could be flipped to a con...) This book has some romance and worse mild language than the others, but used in a laughable context. One of my favorite characters is introduced in this book: everybody meet Luna Lovegood! I love this book, it's probably one of my faves...
Cons: This book is funny, clever and even darker than the last one. It has more mystery and dark elements. It also makes me cry every time I read it; I think that Sirius was very far from deserving what he got. In this one, the mood in the castle is very depressing (aside from the Tweasleys who always remain hilarious through the worst tragedies), and there are no good things that happen publicly in the castle. I love this book, but it's probably also one of the most depressing stories I've ever read...

*****
Pros: This one has a lot of hysterical romance, Harry is back on the Quiddich team (as Captain) and everybody is happier (except Malfoy, Tonks and Lupin). This one is really exciting and fast-paced. I love the continued new characters (cough, cough, Luna Lovegood, cough, cough), that the old character (cough, cough, Umbridge, cough, cough) was pitched into the woods and attacked by centaurs and that Dumbledore is back! (I think I need a cough drop too, Jello)! Malfoy looks sick (yay!) and the world looks brighter. Except of course that now Lord Voldemort is on the move!
Cons: So, Harry is consumed by the mystery of where Malfoy goes so much. He's going off the Marauder's Map and everything. Is he going to Hogsmeade? Nah.... Meanwhile, the world is in danger of the Dark Lord's presence and Harry should really be focusing on Dumbledore's lessons more. Of course, Dumbledore doesn't stay long after his return. No, he has to go and get himself killed by his long-trusted pal, Snivellus. This book isn't quite as depressing as OOTP (to me) but still tremendously dreary.

Pros: OMG, best book I have EVER READ. Not even kidding. The plot is absolutely OUTSTANDING, and J.K.'s writing style is brought to a whole new level. Her characters are more pronounced and more different and themselves than ever before. She uses such strong words, morals and emotions that it makes me cry myself dry (of happiness) before Voldy even dies! Oh, did I just say that, I meant before, um, hold on, I'll have to think about that for a while! (I'm not supposed to be biased!) But seriously people, I recommend this book for people of all ages!
Cons: Though this book is, yes THE BEST book I have personally ever read, it still has some cons. The language in this book is beyond mild, it's downright flabbergasting! So, though I recommend this book for all of humanity, you probably shouldn't let kids under the age of eight read it. I really don't have anything else to say in this category.

*****(Can I add more???)
Pros: Very interesting story lines, I'm very impressed with Rowling's ability to sound (with her writing voice) like a different person than the other HP books. The stories all have very good morals and fantastic commentary by Albus Dumbledore! Writing like Dumbledore would write would make me have a brain freeze. I'm obviously not that smart! But Jo keeps it cool, and what do you know, and comes out sounding brilliant just like Albus does in the books. So awesome!
Cons: The book is written with very choppy sentences, as though it were done by a third grader (no offense, third graders)! I know that was the way it was done in the early fifteen-hundreds (when the book was supposed to have been written) but if you're looking for a brilliant work of literature, don't read this. The stories are great, but they're really short and Dumbledore's commentary (said to be extensive on the back) are h-o-r-r-i-b-l-y l-o-n-g. Not to mention complicated, just like Albus himself.

Movie Reviews
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's stone
Pros: This movie is a wonderful movie entertainment wise! I used to watch a lot! (Until I memorized every characters line!) All everybody can say it was a truly magical movie. The reasons why I kept watching the movies was, that I loved the creative magic it had in it. The invisibility cloak, the magic spells, the animals and of course the sorcerer's stone. Another was I just loved the characters personalities! Ron was very funny. It was one was one of the best movies I ever saw! ( until I saw the later movies of course!)
Cons: I just loved this movie until... well... I read the book. Once I read the book I realized that the book was way funnier! ( Fred, George and Peeves especially!) And in the book they explain the magical creatures more. After I read the book all I did was complain to my parents and friends on how poorly the movie was! To all those who have read the books, but have not watched the movies, Don't watch the movies. you'll probably be disappointed.

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
pros: like the first movie this is hugely entertaining! I thought it was amazing. Funny, a family movie, magic, what else does a movie need? This was another movie that I liked to watch. The movie makers could have done a better job with this movie, but there are worse movie out there. ( I can think of one quite easily! And in case your wondering it is not a Harry Potter movie!)
Cons: This movie is also not as good as the book. The book definitely has more information that you need later in the series. Most people was disappointed with the movie. (Including me,) but it was pretty good. There is better movies out there though. Also, I happened to notice that Harry's scar was in a different place on his forehead last year. (How many times does Voldermort kill him?)

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
Pros: This movie is my favorite movie! It has most of what was in the book. That is a huge plus! It is hugely entertaining too! I absolutely loved Buckbeak! He was such an amazing animal. The Knight Bus had really good special effects. I was just watching this movie the other day, and I realized this movie has the most wonderful sound effects. It gave a new view of the wizarding world outside of Hogwarts. Which is revealed to be very magical and mysterious world.
Cons: It doesn't completelystick to the book, and Harry's scar continues to behave strangely. (I don't remember Harry even encountering any form of Voldemort in this one.) Also Hermione's time turner around her neck, thought it is supposed to be tucked safely under her school robes (even when it is not in use).

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
Pros: This movie (like all the rest,) is hugely entertaining. Everyone will watch until they know all the charactor lines. (Even if they are not Harry Potter fans like me!) I really like the seen in the great lake. The mere people were amazing, but a little creepy. (And I know all of you want to say this.) How the costume designers did a phenomonal job on Hermione's Yule ball dress! I really like how they did the set for the maze; it looked almost exactly like I thought it would!
Cons: I have a big comment! I did not know that vampires could die from the killing curse! They should not put an actor in such a good movie, then put them in the most depressingly-disappointing-atrocious-dissatisfactory-disasterous-unprofessional movie ever. We are talking, of course, about Robert Diggory-Cullen in Twilight.(We don't want any complaints that that is not true, cause you know that we are going to win that arguement!) Also (I aknoledge that this is in both the movie and the book), I do not like that Moaning Myrtle is portrayed as perverted in Goblet of Fire. It is also a bit creepy.

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
Pros: The special effects in this movie are outstanding! I thought they were actually going to skip a few parts of the books! And Umbridge did an amazing job with her little laughs and coughs. A great acting job all around! "Hem Hem!" Also, the music is really great and the Weasley exit was spectacular!!!
Cons: I mean really! how many times can you mess up a scar! It is getting kind of sad. I am not really sure if Harry even had a scar for half of the time! On a movie poster at my friend's house, I saw that Harry appeared not to have a scar. We actually had to draw it in! And (if he had a scar!) shoudn't be it be in the center of his head? Also in all the movies, his scar is a side ways N, not a lightning bolt!

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince*
Pros: This movie is amazing. I mean, what more can I say? All the acting, music, special affects, stuff, and everything were played to perfection! You've been through the whole "Oh-my-god-this-is-the-best-thing-that-ever-happend-in-the-theatrical-world-oh-my-god" drill on the front page, so I'll just stick with the solid fact that this is the best Harry Potter so far, and it's amazing.
Cons: Very few. Mainly that the battle was too short. That plus the Luna Lovegood thing at the beginning (it should've been Tonks), and the whole Bill-Fluer thing is kind of dead. Not mention that stupid added scene where the burrow burned down. I mean did show a point but it took away five minutes that could've been used for the batlle scene. And also, the 3-D in IMAX was AMAZING and SUPA-COOL, but they only had 12 minute of it! And there are some scenes that would have been just TOO COOL with 3-D, but no, no they decided they weren't going too. Shame on them. But that's it. Really. Unless you want to count the awful movie poster that's just a close-up of Dan Radcliffe's face that you can see all his acne in.

*And for all you smarties who didn't know, none of the other movies have been produced thus far. Don't worry; they're working on it.
Harry Potter Products
We have not bought all the Harry Potter products. And I don't think anyone in the world has bought all of them yet, but we do have our cons and pros of some. But I am sure every one would just love to hear your reveiws on the products you own!
Hermione Granger's wand- This wand is wonderful! I just love it! It is a bit heavier then expected though. It is made of hard resin. It does look a bit cheesy in my opinion though, but on the plus side it is an exact replica from the movie. And it comes with a highly collectible box! Every time I pass it in my room, I pick it up say a spell or two. (though none of them work of course!)
The prophecy- The prophecy looks absolutely beautiful in my room! I love the label, it is exactly how it is supposed to be from the book. it is made of real glass and is not cheesy at all! This prophecy is awesome! Though don't drop it!
The Marauder's Map- Very cool! Keep it in a safe place, though, because if you don't it will get stepped on everywhere. Once, my brother got a crease in mine and I totally flipped out at him. The map is really awesome and extremely detailed. It's also very hard to read and I can't find any site that tells you how. I'll post it here if I figure it out, though!
Dumbledore's Army shoulder bag- Army green bag with the D.A. symbol on the front in felt, with the text Dumbledore's Army written around it. It's a teensy bit small, and hard to keep on your shoulder if you're wearing a jacket or something more slippery than the average sweatshirt. This is truly an awesome bag.
Luna Lovegood's jewelry set- This one is totally awesome. It looks exactly like the pictures on the website did, and just like the one in the movies. The butterbeer cork necklace is a teeny fragile, though. (Teeny is actually an understatement. Let's just leave personal experience out of this, but let's go with saving it for special occasions. Kapish?)
Harry Potter sticker book kit: Golden snitch- I am warning you that these are a bit cheesy, (considering they are only $10!) But they are wonderful things. The snitch is painted gold and comes with this marvelous wooden stand. This is the perfect thing to get if you don't get allowance money. They also come with wonderful pictures from the movie!
Harry Potter sticker book kit: The sorting Hat- I think this is my favorite sticker book kit! This thing is like a 8 ball, but it sorts you into a house! I was first put in Gryffindor, but it is not consistent. Megzi was picked for Ravenclaw and Charlotte was put in Slytherin. I absolutely love this! So did all of my friends!
Harry Potter sticker book kit: time turner- This probally the tackiest sticker book kit! But if you are a collecter that does not have a lot of allowance money like me, get it! It is way cheeper then $50 gold one. But if I were you I would save up for the one on the offical site.
